 Ruby Freedman is not a workaholic—no matter what anyone else says. As the only charter plane pilot in her small town, it isn’t like she has a choice but to fly at all hours of the day. So when her best friend’s vagabond brother, Clark, visits town for a dog competition, she doesn’t give him a second’s thought.

 

But she hadn’t expected to need to help her friend out and play tour guide for Clark and his dogs. Or that she would like it.
